North Berwick and area has a large number of clubs, societies and organisations catering for a diverse range of interests and activities:
East Lothian U3A meets regularly in the Town House, Haddington. Tel (Secretary): 01620 823206.
East Lothian Yacht Club (ELYC), 36-40 Victoria Road, North Berwick. Tel: 01620 892698. Clubhouse with facilities at the harbour. Dinghy park on the former outdoor swimming pool area with launching of dinghies from the Low Quay. Sailing activities, racing programme and news on their website.

Fidra Lions Hockey Club, North Berwick. Contact via their website.
Muirfield Riding Therapy, Riding for the Disabled Association. Tel: 01620 842502. Based at West Fenton, with a wonderful indoor arena and the use of an outdoor arena as well as lots of lovely farm rides. Riding ponies and horses provide therapy, achievement and enjoyment to people with disabilities.

North Berwick First Responders. For further information telephone 07977 316411. Volunteers, trained by the Scottish Ambulance in basic life saving skills, go ‘on call’ to provide an early response to patients when an ambulance is on its way.
North Berwick Horticultural Society. For further information telephone 01620 895255. Meetings are held on the last Thursday of every month from September to April. The ‘horti’ organises spring and summer flower shows.
North Berwick & District Probus Club meets on Wednesdays from 9.45am for coffee & tea, with the meeting and talk starting at 10.30am, every fortnight from October to March in the St Andrew Blackadder Church Hall. North Berwick Photographic Society meets fortnightly on Thursdays from September to April at 7.45pm in the Abbey Church Hall. The club has a large programme of talks, photography assignments, competitions (with external judges) and joint meetings with other clubs (eg Berwick-upon-Tweed, Biggar, Midlothian, Haddington and Beeslack Penicuik). North Berwick Youth Project works with young people to create an environment where they are given responsibility and the opportunity to make positive changes in their lives and in their communities. Tel: 01620 893939.
Ramblers Scotland, North Berwick and District Group. Tel (Secretary): 01620 824938. Membership is drawn from North Berwick, Haddington and surrounding villages. Do a range of walks each weekend throughout the year.
The Rotary Club of North Berwick meets in the Marine Hotel on Tuesday evenings at 7pm for a 7.15pm start. For information and to make contact visit their website.
Stepping Out, a mental health project, works with adults suffering from mental health problems, offering a wide range of activities and support. Tel: 01620 893056 (North Berwick Community Centre).
Stroke Club. For people left with speech difficulties after a stroke. Meets at North Berwick Community Centre on Tuesdays from 2pm to 4pm for talks and activities.
