HARBOUR, North Berwick
The harbour is situated between the West & East beaches. All the boat trips, apart from Bass Rock landing trips from Dunbar harbour, depart from North Berwick harbour. The old pier was recently substantially rebuilt and is used when the tide is suitable since the old pier is under water at high tide. Boat trips usually leave from the harbour steps by the Fishermen's Hall except when the tide is too low when they go from the old pier.
East Lothian Yacht Club clubhouse and a dingy park on the filled-in outdoor swimming pool whose former changing cubicles, with their colourful doors, are being restored by North Berwick’s harbourmaster, Ross Harbison.
Scottish Seabird Centre outside café and sun deck area.
Lobster Shack and Rocketeer outdoor eating serving locally-caught lobsters.
The Firth of Forth Lobster Hatchery welcomes visitors to see their work rearing and releasing young lobsters back into the wild.
Beach Wheelchairs for children and adults and a beach walker, from their beach hut at the harbour. To book beach wheelchairs telephone 0300 111 2112.
